Here’s your chance to be a NEMA keynoter!

Among the 60+ sessions at this year’s conference in Hartford, we’ve reserved one slot for a very special “People’s Choice” presentation on Friday, November 18, at 2:15 pm. The lucky presenter will have the stage to say anything they want (as long as it has something to do with museums). It might be a solo presentation, a group endeavor, even an artistic performance.

The winning presenter will be selected by the NEMA community prior to conference.

TO VOTE

Just click here to view short videos produced by the candidates, then vote for your favorite by clicking “Like.” You can watch the winning presenter have their “45 Minutes of Fame” on at the NEMA Conference on Friday, November 18 at 2:15 pm.

Deadline for voting is October 28.

SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO

All you have to do is submit a short video to us (no more than two minutes), describing why you deserve the stage at the NEMA conference. We’ll post it to YouTube, where the NEMA community will vote on their favorite. Whoever gets the most votes wins their “45 Minutes of Fame!”

So get your ideas polished and your camera rolling!

Break a leg!

  1. Create your video, using the Official Submission Rules (below).
  2. Upload it to YouTube.
  3. Tag your video “NEMAHARTFORD”
  4. Email Heather A. Riggs (heather.riggs@nemanet.org) with the URL of your video. (She’ll post it to the NEMA Channel on YouTube.)
  5. You’re finished! Now all you have to do is encourage your friends to vote for your video by “liking” it on YouTube. If you get the most votes, you win!
