Conference Sessions & Events

Tuesday
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
PechaKucha Night
PechaKucha is the latest craze in intellectual entertainment, a world-wide phenomenon that's part education, part meet-up, and all fun. Born in Japan, PechaKucha (pronounced peh-CHAK-cha) is a gathering of people making and witnessing presentations on just about any topic. The only limitation is the format: with 20 slides at 20 seconds each, presentations are fast-paced, rhythmic, sometimes poetic idea events.

Now, for the first time, PechaKucha is coming to Hartford, courtesy of NEMA. We're delighted to kick off the 2011 annual conference with a PechaKucha night – and you're invited! Come and see PK in action, enjoy a drink or two, and mingle with museum colleagues before conference starts. Would you like to partipate? See the NEMA website, nemanet.org, for complete details
